I am married to Stephen Koehn and we have two children: Ashley is 20 and a Junior at Iowa State University. Austen is 18 and a Senior at Urbandale High School. Steve is a C.P.A. with Meriwether, Wilson and Company and I am Assistant Vice President and Trust Officer with Bankers Trust. I work on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and have Thursday and Friday for family. We go to Bristol, TN each year in August as a family to attend the NASCAR race and we love it.

This is what has and is going on with us. After our August trip to Bristol,we had to put our dog TAVI to sleep. He was 13 years old and not doing well. It was very hard. But now we are animal less & loving it. Then Steve and I took a trip to Vegas in November and then met some friends in Phoenix for another NASCAR race. We then flew back to Vegas for a few days and then home. We had a great time but it did get a little long, we were gone for 10 days. Steve's brother Shawn has a condo in Vegas 9 miles from the strip. In December, the 27th (my birthday) to be exact, Susan and her WHOLE family plus Jerry's two kids came up for a visit. Yes, that is right 14 of them! But we had a great time. A little tight quarters but the kids were ice skating on the lake most days and two days they went to Fun Valley to ski and tube. Fun Valley is only 6 minutes from the lake home. They left on the 5th of January the day we had a snow storm, almost didn't get out, but at least they finally saw snow which is what they came up for in the first place!

In March I am taking Austen and 6 friends to Freeport, Bahamas for spring break. Yes, I do have a screw loose! Actually there will be a total of 20 of us going, so that should be a blast. I took Ashley and a friend for her senior spring break (March 2002) and she loved it and she talked Austen into doing the same thing. Better than letting them go off on their own doing God knows what. Can you sense the "control" issue I have? Steve and I and Susan And Mickey (Mitchell, we call Mickey and her son Mickey we call T-Boo go figure!) went to the Bahamas and we had so much fun. Susan had met Ashley and I in the Bahamas for spring break and she loved it so much she said we had to go with the guys, so in December of 2002 we went. So Susan and I got to go to the Bahamas 2 times in one year!

In May Austen graduates, we will be empty nesters, I am not sure how I feel about that yet. A friend and I have been talking about getting a group of women together who are losing their last one to college and going to dinner or movie or what ever we want to do at least once a month sort of a support group. More of a drink and eat social group but the support part sounds good! She has triplets and they all leave this year so will be pretty tough on her.

In June Steve and I go to Branson, Mo for his partnership retreat. Should be fun. July is the ISKL reunion and I can not wait!!. Then August is NASCAR again and Austen starts college and Ashley is in her last year. And supposedly Susan and Mickey and Steve and I are going to go to Australia in December for two weeks. Going to visit Lauren (Susan's friend) and I think she is in Queensland which is where Sohail is and so hopefully we can visit him as well.
